The three-day TIRT International Robot Festival X Innovation Carnival at the Taoyuan Arena wrapped up on November 10th, and we at Pro'sKit are thrilled to meet everyone here every year! As in previous years, Pro'sKit showcased our tools and science toys at two booths, featuring many new products such as the " Mega Cyborgs Water Blaster Transformer," " Soft Tube Arm," " Bobo," and " Air Engine Racer," which attracted the attention of both adults and children.
During the stage events, we interacted with the audience using the Mega Cyborgs Water Blaster Transformer and Hydraulic Cyborg Hand! The hydraulic gloves, selected as one of Time Magazine's Top 100 Inventions in 2021, are model gloves that can be worn by both adults and children, making them a star product in Pro'sKit science kits lineup! The sibling product of the gloves—Mega Cyborgs Water Blaster Transformer—features a matching color scheme and is a unique transforming water gun that is not only stylish but also very popular! It can spray water and has hidden functions! What are these hidden functions? Stay tuned to find out!
At our booth during the Innovation Carnival, we designed an experience activity specifically for the Mercury Shooter. Through games, participants quickly learned about its five forms: claw, shield, boomerang, sword, and crossbow. Children could also experience the "hidden function—claw mode," allowing them to grasp items of various sizes, shapes, and weights, even lifting half a bottle of water—truly impressive!
We also participated in the "Workshop," where the most popular experience course was the "Salt Water Fuel Cell BajaRunner" This vehicle requires no batteries; just add a little saltwater to power it! The instructor guided everyone step by step in assembling it while sharing little scientific knowledge about power, showcasing the value of STEAM education—everyone becomes a little maker!
The highlight of the International Robot Festival is undoubtedly the robot competitions! Hundreds of students from various places gathered to compete, showcasing their skills through hands-on creations and displays. Pro'sKit also hosted the "AI Probbie Brave Challenge," with a total of 48 student teams participating in this event!
This year's competition featured the "AI Probbie Robot 2" as its main character! The second-generation Probbie uses a micro:bit control board as its core control unit. Participants can easily program it using Javascript Blocks or Python. We provided 12 types of free pre-programmed commands for participants to play with first! The competition utilized two of these free commands: "Mobile Control Mode" and "Infrared Sensing Mode." There were three levels in total, and all the little makers were eager to show off their skills and aim for first place!
Finally, congratulations to all the winning children! After multiple successful events, we will expand next year's Probbie competition to include different categories—stay tuned for more details!
Pro'sKit professional tools and science kits accompany people through every stage of life. This time at our booth, many adults and students found the tools and science toys they needed. Our staff were honored and happy to explain and serve everyone who visited our booth. We look forward to continuing our service in the future—we are always here!
