On April 12, the “Project Hope” initiative—spearheaded by Pro’sKit and joined by Yao-Dong, CIC, and Eclife —was officially launched at Pinglin Experimental Junior High School in New Taipei City, Taiwan. This three-year educational partnership focuses on expanding STEAM learning opportunities for rural students. Together, these four companies aim to build a sustainable, hands-on “maker classroom” environment that fosters creativity, exploration, and long-term growth.
Education is not just a school’s duty—it’s a shared responsibility
The launch event was attended by key public figures, including Wei Chia-Yu, Director of the Supervisory Division of the New Taipei City Department of Education, Chang Hsiu-Ling, District Chief of Pinglin, and Chou Ching-Chen, former Pinglin District Chief and current District Chief of Yonghe. Representatives from the four partnering companies joined school leaders to sign an official Memorandum of Understanding, laying the foundation for a shared three-year commitment.
Coming from diverse industries—tools and hardware, tourism, educational science kit development, and IT retail—these companies are united by a single belief: “Education can’t wait.”
Rather than offering one-off donations, the partnership emphasizes long-term collaboration. From classroom renovations and equipment planning to curriculum development and teacher support, the companies are working hand-in-hand with educators to ensure every step meets real-world teaching needs.
During the event, the school unveiled its brand-new STEAM classroom, with Pro’sKit Brand Ambassador Chanel Wang leading Pinglin students through their very first lesson. Together, they assembled science kits, explored scientific principles, and tested out the results—turning learning into discovery, and technology into joy.
But what made the day even more meaningful was a special warmth that couldn’t be seen—only felt.
Coinciding with the launch, all four companies also hosted a Family Day event, inviting employees and their families to visit Pinglin and connect directly with the school community. Pinglin students teamed up with company guests for outdoor cooking and activity-based challenges.
The spirit of the event, “Pedal with Love, Let Dreams Fly,” truly captured the essence of Project Hope—starting with love for one’s own family and extending it to every child in need.
Project Hope isn’t just a one-time project for Pinglin—it’s a scalable and replicable model for corporate participation in education. Over the next three years, the four companies will continue to provide ongoing support, follow-ups, and curriculum enhancements. Even more importantly, they hope to inspire more organizations to join in, helping turn love into momentum and driving a brighter future for every child it reaches.
